Adopt-A-Family seeks space to run program

Christmas may still be far from people’s minds, but the Children’s Foundation of Guelph Wellington has already begun to plan for its annual Adopt-A-Family program and is on the search for a new home.
The program, which sees more than 800 families adopted and supplied with gifts and food vouchers during the holiday season, needs a space that can serve as its workshop.
The program needs a space of at least 5,000 square feet to house volunteers as they receive and wrap gifts and prepare for delivery.
The Children’s Foundation is looking for the donation of space with the following:
• At least 5,000 square feet of primarily open space in the Guelph-Wellington area
• Preferably level access with no stairs
• Ability to drive up close to the doors, or possibly a large warehouse door for gift delivery and pickup
• Ability to bring in phone lines and Internet connection
• Washroom on site
• Space available from early November to early January.
Anyone who believes they might be able to help, is asked to contact Karyn at 519-826-9551, ext. 23, or
