Ascending Spirits sculpture unveiled

Guelph artist Ben McCarl couldn’t have had a better weekend to unveil his latest art piece in St. George’s Square.

During last weekend’s Art on the Street, McCarl explained in detail the year-long process of creating ‘Ascending Spirits’ – an idea he had been bouncing around for quite a while.

The sculpture will be on display at various locations in the city until a final home can be determined.

McCarl is the artist behind the Paperbag princess piece at the Guelph Public Library on Norfolk Street.
