Astronaut Chris Hadfield keynote speaker

Renowned Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield will be the keynote speaker at a sustainability conference to be held at the University of Guelph from May 23-26.
Student delegates from 68 Canadian universities and colleges, ages 19 to 25, including six from the U of G, will take part in the conference. It’s supported by grants from The Co-operators Foundation, a news release said.
“The delegates will team up with experts to develop real sustainability solutions to take back to their campuses, communities and workplaces,” it said.
The Guelph students taking part in the all-expenses-paid conference are Brandon Raco, Kurt Schneider, Nick Fegan, Paul Wartman, Kelly Hodgins and Sarah Stefoff. They are among 175 students chosen to participate from 730 applicants across Canada.
