Community TV season starts after Labour Day

As kids go back to new classrooms and a new school year, local cable TV station Rogers, Cable 20, is starting a new season with some old favourite programs as well as the launch of some new shows.
The new season officially begins Tuesday Sept. 2 and includes returning programs like Inside Guelph, Guelph Storm Hockey and Talk Local Guelph.
The following list highlights the  new programs set to begin airing:
Diapers & Lip Gloss
A mommy series connecting viewers to kiddie wonders and parenting resources across the region. It’s hosted by full-time moms Vanessa and Melissa.
Extraordinary Connections
Hosted by medium Kerrilyn Shellhorn, who uses her “connection to the other side” to connect her clients with the dead. The show follows Shellhorn as she meets clients at message circles, private sessions and workshops and delivers messages from loved ones who have crossed over.
NEXT GEN
A series addressing real and complex issues facing today’s generation, from technology, social media and device dependency to anxiety, depression and eating disorders. It’s hosted by Christina Crowley and features guest panelists.
Up Close & Personal
Host Hayley Zimak chats one-on-one with some of the most colourful and notable individuals in the community. Many featured guests are lined up.
 Naturally Speaking
Host Marleen Castellan explores the community’s natural surroundings, including everything from local trees to local bees, showing how habitat impacts the city’s growth and how people can benefit from learning more about the ecosystems in their own backyards.
