Enabling garden holds annual sale

The Guelph Enabling Garden’s annual fundraising plant sale will take place Saturday May 24 during the City of Guelph’s Waterworks Open House.
The sale will feature perennial plants, herbs and bagged top soil mix, and it will be a good opportunity for gardeners to pick up some bargains, a news release said.
The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 29 Waterworks Pl., off of York Road.
People can help out not just by buying plants, but also by donating spare perennials from their home gardens. Donations, labelled with plant type and colour, can be dropped off at the sale site on Friday May 23 between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. Or people can call Wendy at 519-831-5419 to arrange pickups.
Money raised by the sale will be used to maintain the Enabling Garden at Riverside Park and to provide programs and services to the community. Visit enablinggarden.org.
