Seven-year-old Alex Huynh practises dunk shots while taking a dip in the pool at the West End Community Centre Tuesday. Though the pool wasn’t at capacity for the public swim, which was free courtesy of Tim Hortons, it was a popular activity with families on the rainy afternoon.  There are still two more free Tims swims this summer – Aug. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the West End pool, and Aug. 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Victoria Road Recreation Centre.
