Giant book slae organizers welcome donations

The Friends of the Guelph Public Library are ready to start taking book donations for their annual used book sale.
As of Aug. 6, people were being invited to bring their gently used books, CDs, DVDs, records, videos, puzzles and games to this year’s sale site at 265 Edinburgh Rd. N.
Donations can be dropped off any day of the week, between 2 and 5 p.m., when volunteers will be on site to receive them, but donors are asked not to drop anything at the site outside of those times.
Organizers have also asked that people not bring encyclopedias, National Geographics, general interest magazines and Reader’s Digest condensed books, as these will not be accepted.
For those who can’t make it to the sale site, donations can also be dropped off at any Guelph Public Library branch during regular hours.
The Giant Used Book Sale takes place from Oct. 17 to 19.
