GrassRoots Guelph hosts breakfast event

GrassRoots Guelph, an organization that opposes the current direction at city hall, will hold a breakfast event on Wednesday April 16.
The 7:30-9:30 a.m. event is at the Guelph Golf and Curling Club, 133 Woodlawn Rd. E. Registration is at 7:30 a.m., with buffet service starting immediately.
The guest speaker is Candice Malcolm, Ontario director of the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation. She will discuss the federation’s Municipal Report Card and how Guelph stacks up to other cities in Ontario, a news release said. A Q & A session will follow her speech.
