Guelph Community Foundation makes for happy campers

With summer camp season just around the corner, the Guelph Community Foundation has released a list of camp organizations that will be getting funding this year to give children and youth the chance to experience camp.
The following is the list of organizations and their grants:
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington – $1,250
• Canadian Diabetes Association – $1,500
• Community Resource Centre of North and Centre Wellington – $1,100
• East Wellington Community Services – $1,920
• Everdale Environmental Learning Centre – $500
• Family and Children’s Services of Guelph and Wellington County – $1,200
• Guelph Dance – $1,700
• Guelph Humane Society – $600
• Guelph Wellington Women in Crisis – $750
• Guelph Neighbourhood Support Coalition – $1,960
• Onward Willow – Better Beginnings Better Futures – $2,000
• Portage Ontario – $500
• Sunrise Therapeutic Riding Camp and Learning Centre – $1,000
The foundation credits its donors, special fund holders, the Guelph Mercury Kids to Camp Fund and Camp Discover with helping to boost this year’s support.
