Palladine was having cut off at the Cuts for Cancer event at Stone Road Mall on Saturday. The event raises money and hair to support the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation and help provide wigs to restore the self-esteem of women and children suffering long-term medical hair loss. As of Sunday, with organizers of the local event still counting donations, $6,500 in donations and 60 ponytails had been counted.
