Have one-on-one chat with Santa

The city is offering the chance for local kids to talk to Santa Claus, one-on-one over the phone.
For a small fee, parents can register for their children to receive a personal phone call from Santa through the “North Pole Connection” on Dec. 12 between 6 and 8 p.m. Kids may even hear the elves, Inky and Blinky, playing with Santa’s sleigh bells in the background, a news release said.
Registration is available in person at any City of Guelph recreation facility, or forms are available on the city’s website, guelph.ca.
All proceeds from the calls will benefit the FAIR (Fee Assistance In Recreation) program, which provides funding for those who might not otherwise be able to afford to take part in recreation programs.
