This unique bird’s-eye view of Hillside Festival was sent in by pilot and University of Guelph professor Nathan Perkins. It was taken by instructor Neil Laubach as the pair were flying overhead in a gyrocopter on Saturday morning. Clearly, the crowds of festival goers had not yet arrived. Thousands came to the island at Guelph Lake for a weekend of fun. Unfortunately, thunderstorms shut the festival down a bit earlier than expected Sunday evening.
