Jump-starting healthy hearts

Paisley Road school Grade 6 students (from left) Andrew Thompson, Tyson Matheson, Ellie Stewart and Crystal Nguyen skip alongside their classmates during the school’s Jump Rope For Heart fundraiser on Tuesday. The whole school took part in the event, which challenged students to collect pledges with a goal of raising at least $10,000 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Last year, the school brought in $18,000 with the event, which also aims to promote healthy, active living for kids.
