Kinettes light up lives of seniors

Local seniors will once again have the chance to be dazzled by the city’s many outdoor Christmas displays when the Kinette Club of Guelph hosts its annual Christmas Lights Tour on Dec. 16.

The tour bus will make stops at most Guelph retirement homes, beginning at 6 p.m., to pick up seniors for a free tour of local neighbourhoods to see the lights.

Following the tour, a social event will be held at Centennial high school cafeteria, with entertainment by the S. Andrew’s Bell Choir and refreshments. There will also be a raffle and a visit from Santa, before the bus leaves to take seniors back home, a news release said.
