Organic farmers, researchers and consumers will once again gather at the University of Guelph for the annual Guelph Organic Conference and Expo, running from Jan. 31 to Feb. 3.
The event, which is in its 32nd year, will include international speakers, seminars and workshops on topics ranging from genetically modified foods to changing climates, and from pollination to food security.
Best-selling author and media personality Mark Cullen will be making his way to Guelph for the event, showing up at the Organic Expo and Tasting Far on Feb. 2 and 3. As Home Hardware’s gardening expert, Cullen will be promoting a new garden hose that will soon be part of the company’s lineup of gardening products, a news release said.
The expo and tasting fair, which is free and is open to the public, features more than 150 exhibitors, including more than 30 food samplers.
