A new local alternative-style school has expanded to offer one-off classes and workshops on Saturdays and school PA days.
The Guelph Outdoor School, which has been operating for about a month at an outdoor site along the Eramosa River, will hold its first weekend workshop this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.
The workshop, which is open to kids of all ages, is an introductory circus workshop called “Guelph Circus Goes Outdoors: Sticks and Tricks.” It will cover juggling, devil sticks, diabolo, spinning plates, slack line and partner-acrobatics, a news release said.
It will finish with a short demonstration of the new skills learned and a show from the instructors.
