Public board seeks parental input

The Upper Grand District School Board is seeking four parents to sit on its Parent Involvement Committee, which meets next week.
Parents can bring their applications to the first meeting of the committee on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at the board’s headquarters at 500 Victoria Rd. N., a news release said.
Members serve one- or two-year terms and meet about seven times during the school year on the fourth Monday of the month. “The Parent Involvement Committee provides us with a direct link to parents,” board chair Bob Borden said in the release. “Committee members provide feedback on a variety of topics and make suggestions on how we can enhance meaningful parent involvement in Upper Grand.”
