Register now for fall vote

With the provincial election over, city hall is encouraging voters to register for the civic election on Oct. 27.
By logging onto the voterlookup.ca website, eligible voters can confirm they are on the voters’ list and verify the accuracy of their elector information, a news release said.
If necessary, information can be updated online. New residents, or those who are now eligible to vote, can add their name to the list in a few short steps, the release said. Registered Guelph voters will have the added convenience of Internet voting during the advance-voting period of Oct. 7 to 24, it said.
The City of Guelph does not administer voterlookup.ca, so residents needing help should contact the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation at 1-866-296-6722, it said.
