Stone United Church, just outside of Rockwood, is celebrating its 150th anniversary and is inviting people to celebrate with the congregation at several upcoming events.
The church, located at 5370 Eramosa Fourth Line, will hold its 150th anniversary service on Oct. 14 at 9:45 a.m. The service will feature guest speaker Dr. Elizabeth Stone of the Ontario Veterinary College, as well as special music and other events, a news release said.
On Oct. 15, the church will hold its annual Roast Beef Dinner at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. at the Rockmosa Hall.
