The University Centre at the University of Guelph was the place to go over the weekend to learn about all things organic – from organic cotton underwear to organic farming practices, seeds and foods. In the middle of winter, “it’s kind of a boost coming here and getting excited about the new season,” Greta Kryger said of the Guelph Organic Conference and Expo. Kryger, above right, discussing seeds with Cheryl Stanley, left, has been coming to the conference for 16 years and looks forward to it as a reminder of spring.
