The annual event, which is a birthday celebration for the Renaud sisters, is also a fundraiser for Bracelet of Hope, a local organization that supports people affected by AIDS and HIV in Africa. Close to 100 people attended this year’s event, raising an estimated $1,800 for the charity. Donations are still being accepted online at skateanddonate.ca.
