Volunteers wanted for Giant Book Sale

The Friends of the Guelph Public Library are ready to start signing up volunteers for their annual fundraising book sale, taking place Oct. 17 to 19.
The organization, which is raising money for a new main library branch, is using a new online sign-up system found at Volunteerspot.com.
Available volunteer jobs include table monitors, tally volunteers who add up purchases, cashiers and floor monitors. There is also a category for people who are willing to help out wherever they are needed.
People are asked to choose one job and sign up for six-hour shifts .
