On Sunday Jan. 27, local walkers will join those in communities across Ontario to take part in the Alzheimer Society’s largest fundraising event.
The Alzheimer Society Walk for Memories aims to raise awareness and funds for programs and services that support people living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
The local event, hosted by the Alzheimer Society of Guelph Wellington, will take place at Old Quebec Street. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on the morning of the event.
It is also possible to register online or pledge a walkers at www.walkformemories.ca.
