Walk target within reach

The Alzheimer Society of Guelph-Wellington is well on its way to its goal of raising $50,000 after a successful fundraising walk over the weekend.
More than 100 people took part in two walks last Sunday – one at the Old Quebec Street Shoppes and a second in Mount Forest. Together, they raised $43,000, a news release said.
But donations will continue to be welcomed until the end of March. They can be made through the Alzheimer Society office or online at
Funds raised support the organization’s local programs and services, including support counselling, support groups and public education.
