The Tim Cup Challenge pitted nearly 900 restaurants across Canada and the United States against each other.

What a team

The Timtastic Trio team of Sonya DiPaolo, foreground, Isaac Shaw, left, Latoya Smith and Christine Grafe have been recognized as Tim Hortons hospitality champions over participants from more than 400 other Timmys restaurants in Ontario. The Tim Cup Challenge pitted nearly 900 restaurants across Canada and the United States against each other in an event that measured speed, order accuracy and friendliness. The team works at the Tim Hortons at Bullfrog Mall on Eramosa Road.
DiPaolo is coach, while Shaw does beverages, Smith soup and sandwiches, and Grafe is order taker and runner. While the team didn’t strike gold at the final national competition, the Guelph finalists received $2,000 per team member and “of course, bragging rights for being the fastest and friendliest Tim Hortons in Ontario,” said a news release.
