Women in Crisis want heavy metal

Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis is asking people to donate their old hunks of metal to the organization’s E-Cycle, Recycle Fundraiser on Saturday.
With the help of Benmet Steel & Metal, the organization is collecting old car batteries, electronics, appliances, extension cords, pop cans, aluminum, brass, copper and steel for its fundraising efforts.
Items can be dropped off at the Women in Crisis office at 38 Elizabeth St. between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday Jan. 11.
