
Destiny Tours is offering a Santa Express train ride along the Guelph Junction Railway, with all proceeds from ticket sales supporting the Guelph Wish Fund for Children, said a news release.
The train ride includes complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, and Christmas carolling. The train ride goes to Santa’s Little Red Caboose, where he’ll be waiting to board the train, the release said.
Every child on board will receive a special gift from Santa.
The deadline to book is Friday Nov. 28. Santa Express train rides are also offered
on Saturday Dec. 6. After the last excursion, participants will be encouraged to head downtown to watch the lighting of the Tree of Hope in St. George’s Square at 6 p. m.
The deadline to book for Dec. 6 is Friday Dec. 5.
Trains depart both Nov. 29 and Dec. 6 from John Galt Park at 2:30 and 4:15 p. m. Boarding starts 15 minutes before departure. The ride is about one hour and 10 minutes.
