A special Christmas train ride held Nov. 29 raised $1,650 for the Guelph Wish Fund for Children.
Destiny Tours ran its Santa Express Train on an excursion along the Guelph Junction Railway. The event included a visit from Santa, Christmas carols and hot chocolate.
The company plans to run the Santa Express Train again next year and hopes to raise more money for the charity, said a news release.
