The Guelph Historical Railway Association is holding a fundraising train ride on Saturday April 25.

“A Tour of the Guelph Junction Railway” is being held in conjunction with the Guelph Junction Express and Ontario Southland Railway, said a news release.

The ride will raise funds for the association’s historical collection and railway museum, said the release.

Passengers will ride along almost all the operational tracks of the Guelph Junction Railway, it said. The train will pass the Speed River, historic mills, the River Run Centre, former Priory site, and the west end industrial park.

The ride will also include Arkell, Corhwin and Moffat before turning around at Campbellville.

In Campbellville, passengers will also have a chance to tour the Ontario Southland Railway facilities where the railway museum is on display.

Boarding for the ride starts at 9 a. m., with the train departing at 10 a. m. from the River Run Centre.
