
The following neighbourhood groups and organizations are offering Winterfest activities:
Brant Avenue Neighbourhood Group will have a snowman building contest, snow angels, snow painting and a snow tug-of-war at Dakota Park from 1 to 2:30 p. m.
The City of Guelph is offering a free family skate from 1:30 to 2:50 p. m. at Centennial Arena on College Avenue
Exhibition Park Neighbourhood Group will offer ice skating, crafts, face-painting, refreshments and musical entertainment by Rodney at the Exhibition Park arena from 1 to 3 p. m.
Grange Hill East Neighbourhood Group has organized free children’s activities, hotdogs, hot chocolate, tobogganing and prizes from 1 to 3 p. m. at Peter Misersky Park.
Hanlon Creek Neighbourhood Group will have skating, snow painting, an indoor craft table and hot chocolate from 2 to 4 p. m. at Fred A. Hamilton school, 160 Ironwood Rd.
Kortright Hills Neighbourhood Group and the 26th Guelph Scout Group will offer skating, hot chocolate, hotdogs and games from 1 to 3 p. m. at Mollison Park 85 Downey Rd.
Our Three Bridges will have games, snow sculptures and skating from 12:30 to 3 p. m. in Royal City Park at Water and Mary streets.
Riverside Park East Ice Rink Committee is offering hockey, games and snacks from 2 to 4 p. m. at Riverside Park East on Riverview Drive.
Sunny Acres Park will have children’s hockey, games, family skating and a barbecue from 1 to 4 p. m. at the outdoor rink near Edinburgh Road.
Two Rivers Neighbourhood Group will have skating, crafts, a nature walk and games from 1 to 3 p. m. at Lyons Park on York Road.
West Willow Woods Neighbourhood Group and Westwood school will have tobogganing, skating, crafts, face painting and hot chocolate from 1 to 3 p. m. at Westwood school, 495 Willow Rd.
