The Foundation of Guelph General Hospital’s annual Black Tie Bingo fundraising gala raised $150,361, the most in the event’s 14-year history.
“We are thrilled,” the foundation’s executive director Suzanne Bone said in a news release.
The money raised will help to purchase equipment for the hospital and to cover other capital costs not covered by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
