Busing to GO is the way to go
Letters
May 13, 2010
I just read the letter from Randy Nadalin (Guelph Tribune, May 4) where he states he will not use the Guelph Go train service. His reason is because he refuses to take the city bus service to the train station and insists that he should be able to drive his car downtown and park instead.
So instead of purchasing a bus pass and taking a 20-minute bus ride to the station, he is going to make a 40-minute drive to Georgetown and spend money on gas and parking in excess of the cost of the bus pass, not to mention wear on his vehicle, all because he can't park downtown near the GO Train station. Taking the bus to the train station will save him both time and money, and yet he claims that the city has their heads in the sand.
I suggest if he really wants to make his commute easier, he should move to Georgetown.
