A local teen was taken to hospital with severe, life-threatening injuries after running into a car on his bike on Friday afternoon. The 17-year-old was riding north on Edinburgh Road near Willow Road around 4 p.m. when he crossed two lanes of traffic and collided with a southbound car driven by an 81-year-old Guelph man, a news release said.
