Jaw broken in roommate spat
A man was taken to hospital with a broken jaw following an argument with his roommate on New Year’s Day.
Police were called to a disturbance at a residence on Truesdale Crescent at around 3 p.m., where they found that two roommates had gotten into an argument and one had punched the other in the face, a news release said.
A 21-year-old Guelph man was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that his jaw had been broken in two places and that he would need surgery to repair it, the release said.
A 25-year-old Guelph man was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
