Restaurant fire harms four people

One male was taken to hospital and three Guelph Police officers were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire at a local restaurant on Sunday night.
At approximately 8 p.m. Sunday, emergency services were alerted to a fire at Ken’s Family Restaurant, located at Silvercreek Parkway North and Woodlawn Road W.
The Guelph Fire Department attended and extinguished the fire in the premises, said a news release.
One male from the restaurant was taken to Guelph General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Three Guelph Police officers were treated at Guelph General Hospital for smoke inhalation and released.
