Sona found guilty

Former Conservative Party staff member Michael Sona has been found guilty of using misleading automated phone calls to Guelph voters in the 2011 federal election.

On Thursday, Sona was convicted of using the “robocalls” to send Guelph voters to the wrong polling station on the day of the 2011 federal election.

A sentencing date is set for Oct. 17.
