City sidewalks marked, now it is time to fix them

For the last three years, someone from the city works department has come along Candlewood Drive and spray-painted orange paint on all the raised edges of the sidewalks.
Due to the raised sidewalk, a visitor from Cape Breton tripped over one of these raised edges of sidewalk while walking with her granddaughter. She has sustained bruising to her face, hand, knees and elbows.
When is something going to be done to fix these issues? It is not expensive to raise these sidewalks.
There are many companies locally that can raise and level these areas in minutes. It is called Mud Jacking and takes about 15 minutes to raise and level these sunken areas.
