Congratulations on many city fronts

Congratulations on the Guelph Tribune’s 25th anniversary. We have always enjoyed your paper and were glad to see that it didn’t really change when the Star bought it.
Through your paper I would like to thank those responsible for decorating the tall crane on Douglas Street. I’m not sure if it is the construction company or the developer, but it certainly adds colour and brightness to the core area.
A GO train recently crossed Allen’s Bridge at least twice. It was pretty impressive with an engine plus 10 double-decker cars. As a train buff I find it quite exciting.
Also congratulations to the shop owners in downtown Guelph who are renovating their store fronts. Good job.
And finally, at last we have flags and flag poles at city hall. The landscaping is also quite nice there.
