Coun. Ian Findlay seems to have come up with a nifty idea to break a nearly year-long deadlock over what to do with the Wilson farmhouse. Last April, council voted to reconsider its previous decision to sever and sell the farmhouse property. Findlay’s proposal would keep the farmhouse as a community asset, but with a minimum of financial support from city hall. It’s early days yet for his idea, but it’s worth keeping a close eye on it.
