Hydro bill through the roof

I just received my hydro bill in the mail and almost had a heart attack. My monthly bill has gone up almost one hundred dollars a month. This is after changing all the light bulbs in the house to 13-watt florescent, using less water, only doing laundry after 7 p.m., etc.
I think it has to do with the new ‘Dumb Meters’ that we did not need or want! I phoned Guelph Hydro and asked them what gives with the big increase and asked if someone would come check the meter to see if it was working correctly.
I was told that they have had no complaints. Ever! (bull)
I was told that I would be charged for having someone come check it out.
I think this is their way of making us pay for all of the moving gas plants, windmills, and all of the other Ontario Liberal screw- ups, etc. We cannot afford this increase; my wages have not gone up in a couple of years. Has anyone seen or heard of ex-premier Dalton McGuinty lately? I would like to thank him in person! He must be hiding under a rock!
Oh yes, can the last person to leave Ontario please blow out your candles.
