New bus service adds to hardships

I am a senior with a disability living just north of Crestwick church/school. Before the transit changes, I was able to go on the #1 bus to Riverside Glen, Canadian Tire and Walmart in five to six minutes from home.
Now I need to walk a long distance (1/4 of the way there) to get a bus that takes me downtown.
If I am lucky enough that the #3B has not already left, I can board it to go to the U of G and then along to Riverside Glen. Now that same trip will take me between an hour and a half and two hours.
Why are all of the bus stops so far apart and far away for most of us? This makes for many more shopping trips. If there are others like me with problems like mine, send a letter, e-mail or telephone call to transit, Mayor Farbridge and all of the councillors.
It was them who placed these hardships on us, and not the wonderful drivers we have who are taking all of the anger and criticism.
