Shame on neighbours of the Wilson farmhouse

I was dismayed to learn of the verdict to demolish the Wilson Farmhouse after so many viable options were proposed.
To the neighbours who can’t see past the current state of the house and
envision it’s potential value to their neighbourhood and to our community,  and to the City of Guelph who continues to show a serious
lack of vision and foresight when it comes to understanding the importance of preserving heritage properties in our city;  shame on you all.
The importance to a city of appreciating and preserving the character and beauty of heritage buildings is clear when considering the steady stream of visitors annually to the Gorge and the picturesque town of
Elora, and why we continue to struggle to attract tourism and business to downtown Guelph.
Joseph Schneider Haus is fortunate to have been built in Kitchener . . .
