Where are protesters

The (in)actions of the citizens of Guelph concerning the prorogation of the Dalton McGuinty government are quite telling, and it’s not a pretty story (Tribune, Oct. 18).
Three years ago when Stephen Harper prorogued the federal government, he was the anti-Christ: “showing contempt for democracy by proroguing” and “arbitrary, despotic approach to government,” according to our MP.
Hundreds of university students and others rallied in St. Georges Square to protest Harper’s actions.
McGuinty? Not even a letter to the Tribune.
Are the citizens of Guelph truly so biased?
I am becoming ashamed to say I live in Guelph.
