Through your paper I would like to extend my thanks to City of Guelph general manager of public works Rodney Keller and his crew for the great job they did last month with the snow removal on both the roads and sidewalks.
Within 12 hours of the snow stopping, roads were clear and also most of the sidewalks.
Thank goodness the plowing of sidewalks has been retained. The snowfall in mid-February was huge, although the snow at the end of the month was much wetter and heavier.
Both were challenging storms, and I appreciate the hours put in by his crews and their machines.
