Guelph’s Natalie Achonwa was picked ninth overall in the Women’s National Basketball Association’s 2014 draft Monday.
The former Centennial CVI student was picked by the Indiana Fever. The 6-foot-3 Canadian national team player recently wrapped up an impressive career with a Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
