Senior girls basketball all-stars from Guelph, Fergus and Orangeville more than doubled up their foes from Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge last Wednesday.
The local District 10 all-stars topped the District 8 stars 74-33 Wednesday night at the University of Guelph in the second of two games between the two leagues.
In the junior game, the District 10 squad beat the District 8s by a 40-37 score.
The night included the announcing of league MVPs. Rebecca Morris of Bishop Macdonell earned the D10 senior MVP honour and Rainey Psenicka from Our Lady of Lourdes won the junior award.
In the senior game, Emma Cain scored 14 points for the locals and Sydney Wilson had 13. Cain was named game MVP.
In the junior contest, Psenicka scored nine points and Carter Godman of Centennial CVI had seven. Godman was named game MVP.
