
Canes facing Siskins in playoffs

The Guelph Hurricanes topped Listowel 4-3 Friday to close out their Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League regular season.
Guelph will play the Waterloo Siskins in the first round of the playoffs.
On Friday, Guelph built a 4-0 lead before holding on for the one-goal win.
Martin Kudla scored twice and singles came from Tyson Theaker and Blair Goss.
Guelph finishes the season with a 16-29-6 record and in eighth place in the nine-team Midwestern Conference. Waterloo was second with a 42-7-1 record.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven series is Wednesday in Waterloo at 7:30 p. m.
Guelph hosts Game 2 on Saturday at 7:30 p. m. at the Sleeman Centre.
