Guelph’s Natalie Achonwa had four points for the Canadian senior women’s basketball team as they lost 56-47 to France in the FIBA World Olympic Tournament in Turkey.

Canada opened the Olympic qualifying tournament with an 89-23 win over Mali that saw Achonwa tally seven points.

Canada’s next game is Friday against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.
