Ross at the finish line during the District 10 cross-country championships held at Margret Greene Park last Wednesday afternoon. Thirteen schools sent 436 registered athletes to the event.
Vanessa Linton of Guelph CVI and Peter Quosai of Centennial CVI won gold in the senior girls and boys races, respectively, at the District 10/4 cross-country championships.
Rawle Groothuizen (Lourdes) and Sarah Wismer (Centennial) won the junior boys and girls events.
Jack Tersigni (St. James) and Nicole Hessels (Norwell)
won the midget boys and girls races.
The championship took place last Wednesday on a cold day at Margaret Greene Park.
