Approximately 70 participants braved challenging conditions Saturday at the inaugural Big Little Run put on by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph

Snow, wind and cold meant slower times for participants, as no one finished the 5km race in less than 20 minutes.

The event took place at the University of Guelph Arboretum, and raised approximately $6,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph. Heather Fowler was top fundraiser.

Robert Brouilette finished in first place with a time of 20:27.4.
